On Dec. 18, 2017, the US Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Assistant to the Secretary for Rural Development Anne Hazlett appointed Curtis Anderson as Acting Administrator of Rural Development’s Rural Housing Service (RHS). Anderson recently re-joined USDA as the RHS Chief of Staff. Anderson previously served as the Deputy Administrator for USDA Rural Development’s Rural Utilities Service under President George W. Bush.
