The National Association of REALTORS® is introducing REALTOR® News Weekly, a redesigned newsletter that brings timely industry news, practical business intelligence and valuable NAR resources directly to members' inboxes.

Formerly known as Business Edge, the publication has been reimagined to make it easier for REALTORS® to stay informed, discover new opportunities and put their membership benefits to work—all in one place.

The redesign is part of a broader evolution of NAR's member communications strategy, aligning REALTOR® News Weekly with REALTOR® News Daily, REALTOR® News Monthly and REALTOR® News Commercial. Together, the publications offer a more connected, consistent approach to delivering information members can use.

Bringing the News to Members

One of the biggest changes is how stories are presented. Rather than relying primarily on headlines and links that send readers to multiple websites, REALTOR® News Weekly delivers more substantial reporting and insights within the newsletter itself. The writing takes a more conversational, storytelling approach, connecting industry developments to the everyday challenges, decisions and opportunities members face.

Simply put, we want the Weekly to feel like a conversation with our members, grounded in what matters to you and your business.

Members can quickly catch up on housing market developments, emerging business trends, technology, industry challenges and opportunities without having to navigate away from their inboxes.

"This is about meeting members where they are and making every communication more valuable," says Raffi Williams, NAR's vice president of communications. "Our members are busy professionals who need reliable information and practical resources. By bringing those elements together in a more accessible format, we're making it easier for them to stay informed and take advantage of everything NAR offers."

Connecting News With Member Value

Another defining feature is the integration of NAR programs, products and resources alongside relevant industry news.

A story about shifting housing affordability, for example, might introduce professional development opportunities to help agents better serve today's buyers. Coverage of emerging technology could connect readers with tools and training designed to strengthen their businesses.

The result is a more natural connection between what's happening in real estate and how NAR can help members respond.

"We want members to walk away from every edition having learned something useful," says Kyle Fobe, NAR's director of news and content strategy. "That might be a new market statistic, an idea they can put to work in their business or a resource they didn't know was available. The goal is to deliver journalism that informs, but also helps members take the next step in growing their business."

Relevant Content for Different Audiences

REALTOR® News Weekly continues to recognize that members have different information needs. Content is tailored to residential practitioners, brokers, commercial real estate professionals and association executives, with stories and resources selected for their relevance to each audience.

The redesigned format also emphasizes readability, with engaging headlines, concise reporting, compelling statistics, expert perspectives and practical takeaways that make information easier to absorb and share.

Ultimately, REALTOR® News Weekly reflects a simple idea: Members shouldn't have to work harder to find the information that helps them succeed. By bringing trusted reporting and NAR resources together in a more useful, accessible format, the newsletter aims to make every edition worth opening—and reading.
