To promote transparency in the way the real estate market operates, the National Association of REALTORS® has brought a number of updates to its competition.realtor website, which the association introduced last fall.

The website serves as an information hub about how REALTORS® and local MLS broker marketplaces create competitive, efficient, pro-consumer markets.

It also can serve as a reference to share key points with clients to explain the competitive nature of the market and the critical role MLSs and REALTORS® play in advancing consumers’ interests. The site also serves as a resource for media, consumers, and elected officials.

It features information like fact sheets, articles, FAQs, infographics, and other information that explains the current real estate landscape, provides updates on NAR actions and legal matters, and illustrates how REALTORS® are serving as consumer champions across the country.

For more and updated information over time, visit and bookmark competition.realtor. The site will be updated continually with new developments, information, and materials.
