The National Association of REALTORS® is accepting applications for its Volunteering Works grant and mentoring program, which matches mentors with REALTORS® who have demonstrated a commitment to public service and who are looking to enhance their charitable work.

The association is encouraging applications from REALTORS® involved in charitable efforts that have the potential for the growth of their cause. Five Volunteering Works recipients will be selected and will earn a year of one-on-one mentoring from a member of NAR’s Good Neighbor Society and $1,000 in grant money to put toward their charity. The Good Neighbor Society is made up of past recipients of NAR’s Good Neighbor Award.

“Countless REALTORS® across the country have made a noteworthy contribution to their communities,” says NAR President Leslie Rouda Smith. “It’s heartwarming to see the relationships that form through the Volunteering Works program. The support that participants receive immediately puts them in a position to take their charitable work to the next level and make an even greater impact on their communities.”

The deadline to apply is March 11. Find a Volunteering Works entry form at nar.realtor/gna (click on the “Volunteering Works Application” button).

Applicants must be NAR members to apply.

The Volunteering Works program is funded by Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.
