eXp Realty has become one of the fastest-growing global real estate brands and recently announced that it has more than 80,000 agents globally. That marks a 50% increase compared to just a year ago (53,379).

Glenn Sanford, founder, CEO and chairman of eXp World Holdings, says that they expect to continue their growth trajectory in 2022 and be at 100,000 agents this year.

The company has seen consolidation with teams joining its ranks over the past year, helping to foster its rapid growth.

eXp Realty offers a cloud-based business model. In the T3 Sixty 2022 Real Estate Almanac report, eXp Realty ranked as the number one growth leader in year-over-year sales volume, transaction sides, and agent count. It ranked number three among the Top 50 Brokerages for residential home sales in the U.S. in the 2022 RISMedia Power Broker Report.

Real estate giants are getting even bigger. In 2021, the nation’s largest real estate firms accounted for 61.2% of the total sales for the year, representing the largest year-over-year jump on record, according to T3 Sixty.

“The residential real estate industry has been consolidating at an accelerated clip over the past several years and this data shows just how significant it is,” says Paul Bishop, T3 Sixty’s economist and vice president of research. Read more: 20 Real Estate Companies Have 60% of Market Share
