Reflecting on Our Successful Legislative Meetings

It's hard to believe we've wrapped up yet another year of the 2019 REALTORS® Legislative Meetings & Trade Expo. It always seems like we’ve just arrived in Washington, D.C., and the you blink and you’re on the plane headed back home. It seems like a blur.

I've been serving on REALTOR® Party-related committees at the national level for more than a decade now, and I'm still amazed at what we do when our business and franchise hats are off and our “R” hats are on. I will continue to be a humble servant leader to my REALTOR® family.

One of my favorite highlights of the week—beyond being in the same room as our seated president—was finding my name on the Phil Hansen painting that includes the names of the roughly 10,000 RPAC Major Investors from 2018. The artwork is truly an amazing rendering of our REALTOR® building in D.C., with in the silhouette of the U.S. Capitol in gray scale. The fact that he used all of our names to create the image is so cool. “It’s Who We R!”
