No Challenge Too Big
When Charles “Chip” Murphy, 27, started out as an agent working 70 to 80 hours a week, he kept a second job as a paralegal for an estate lawyer. That job eventually helped Murphy grow a robust business in estate sales—selling properties for the families of people who have passed away. He attributes his success to a knack for shepherding people toward a common goal. “I truly enjoy helping the executors and heirs of estates work through the challenges,” he says. Murphy uses the same team-focused approach directing and facilitating career-building relationships among more than 200 agents in the Rochester, N.Y., region. If he’s not working, Murphy’s likely pursuing charitable endeavors like advocating for water quality on Keuka Lake, where he lives, and fundraising for the local REALTORS® Charitable Foundation.
