Vehement Volunteer
Brett Henry, e-PRO, SFR, is on call day and night—and not just for his real estate clients. He’s a volunteer with Utah County Search and Rescue. That’s the team that fire and police departments call on to help find missing persons or rescue those in distress. Henry went out on more than 100 missions last year and also earned his EMT certification. “Helping people is a big deal to me, whether I’m saving them from having to do a short sale or helping them down a mountain,” he says. Henry has also been known to save people from buying too much house. “The advice my father ever gave me is, ‘Put your clients’ needs first and your commission second,’” he says. That tactic has never left him short of clients or commissions.
