Jack Woodcock from Las Vegas, Nevada, was named the 91st recipient of the prestigious National Association of REALTORS® Distinguished Service Award (DSA) at the REALTORS® Legislative & Trade Expo in Washington, D.C.
Since 1974, Jack has been the REALTOR® embodiment of honor, leadership, service, and commitment. He has emerged as a proven leader in the Las Vegas real estate profession and founded one of the largest real estate firms in the State of Nevada and has dedicated most of his adult life to his profession.
In November 1979, Jack and two other REALTORS® founded the Americana Group, REALTORS®, currently known as Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Nevada Properties. Although Jack sold his interest in Americana in 2004, Woodcock is still considered the Founder-Broker. He continues to personally work with buyers and sellers in all aspects of real estate from single-family homes to land sales, and commercial/industrial properties. Jack is committed to providing quality service and believes the knowledge and experience to best serve people is gained through actively working directly with them. In October 2014, Jack was given the great honor of being named the first recipient of the Jack Woodcock Award, which is given for those in the real estate profession promoting ethical conduct and professionalism.
Jack’s hobbies include golf, woodworking, gardening, travel, and daily walks with his dog Coco. He is married to Kathy Parraguirre and has 3 children, 4 grandchildren, and attends the Crossing Church in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Jack was officially presented with the DSA award during the Board of Directors Meeting at the REALTORS® Conference & Expo on Monday, November 6, 2017 in Chicago, IL.
