The table below shows the impact on home prices of recent past destructive hurricanes that have hit the U.S. shores. Generally speaking, there do not appear to be significant differences between the impacted markets compared to the rest of the country after one or two years. Other factors are at play aside from hurricanes to these markets, but a quick snapshot shows the resilience of the American spirit in putting things back to normal after a major storm.
