Foot traffic in the area covered by the Iowa City Area Association of REALTORS® had been stronger than a year earlier for most of the summer as the effects of last year’s tax credit induced sales wore off.
However, in August, the year-over-year spread in foot traffic collapsed. Sales are now even with last year’s pace.
