Wisconsin REALTORS® Help Re-Elect Property Rights Champion to State Supreme Court

Working closely with a well-established coalition of like-minded partners, the Wisconsin REALTORS® Association led an independent expenditure campaign for the re-election of Justice Pat Roggensack, one of the four-justice majority seen as favoring property rights on Wisconsin’s Supreme Court.

“Just recently, she voted to uphold a 1963 Wisconsin Supreme Court decision that allows real estate professionals to fill out state-approved forms without an attorney, a matter very dear to our members’ hearts,” says Joe Murray, WRA’s director of Political and Governmental Affairs.

With a $210,000 grant from NAR that financed a two-week statewide radio campaign, WRA helped Roggensack fight off challenger Ed Fallone to win 57.5 percent of the vote.
