Association executives wear a lot of hats, so saving time is essential. In a single day, they may be managing finances, overseeing governance, navigating legal questions and planning communications—all while looking for new ways to deliver value to members. Recognizing these needs, the National Association of REALTORS® launched a new tool, the Association Accelerator, that pulls critical association management resources together in one place.
Association Accelerator serves as a central hub for state and local REALTOR® association staff and leaders. Rather than requiring AEs to navigate multiple websites, documents and departments to find the information they need, the new website organizes resources by key association management functions. Topics include governance and organizational structure, budgeting and finances, communications and marketing, operational planning, and Core Standards compliance.
At NAR’s Leadership Summit in Chicago on Monday, Jarrod Grasso, NAR senior vice president of industry relations, officially announced the launch of this new platform.
"I'm finally delivering on something that I promised you. Accelerator.realtor is live today. This is your one-stop shopping for everything you need to operate a local association,” Grasso said enthusiastically on stage. “I know the frustrations that you've had, and I wanted to make sure that we launched it today so that you have what you need at your fingertips."
Association Accelerator is built to serve associations of every size and stage of development. Smaller associations can use the platform to access foundational resources and ensure they meet key requirements, while larger associations can use the advanced planning tools and operational frameworks to support long-term strategic growth.
The platform also reinforces one of NAR’s most important priorities: strengthening the relationship of the three-way agreement. By providing consistent guidance, standardized resources and shared best practices, Association Accelerator helps create stronger alignment across all three levels of the REALTOR® organization.
“At its core, Association Accelerator is about partnership,” Grasso says. “When local and state associations have access to the same trusted resources and information, we can work more effectively together to serve members and strengthen the REALTOR® organization as a whole.”
