Many real estate professionals saw their business boom in 2020 during a historic year in sales even while the COVID-19 pandemic raged. The latest RealTrends + Tom Ferry The Thousand, an annual list of America’s top 1,000 real estate pros released by HW Media, shows just how great a year it was for the most productive agents. The rankings include tallies for each pro’s sales volume and number of transactions from 2020.

Ben Caballero, broker-owner of HomesUSA.com in Dallas, once again topped the list—a feat he’s achieved in most years since 2013. His sales tallies are known for breaking records: In 2020, he reported 6,409 transaction sides and a sales volume of about $2.5 billion. He averages 18 sales every day and focuses his business entirely on new homes.
