Realtor.com® became the REALTORS® Relief Foundation’s largest donor of the year on Saturday, pledging more than $1 million in total support.
To kick off the giving, Chief Consumer and Marketing Officer Mickey Neuberger presented a $100,000 check to the foundation’s past president, Mike McGrew, during the Realtor.com® Open House at SXSW in Austin, Texas. Additional donations were promised throughout the year.
In a joint press release with the National Association of REALTORS®, Realtor.com® also announced it will match eligible donations—up to an additional $100,000—through the end of May, to help the foundation mark 25 years of giving.
Those interested in making a tax-deductible donation and taking advantage of Realtor.com®’s limited-time match can do so at: https://fundraise.givesmart.com/vf/RDCRRF26.
“For 25 years, the REALTORS® Relief Foundation has shown up for communities when they need it most, helping people keep a roof over their heads in the aftermath of disaster,” Neuberger said. “Homeownership is one of the most powerful drivers of generational wealth, but disasters can threaten that stability overnight. We’re proud to support RRF’s work and to stand alongside REALTORS® across the country to help ensure that a temporary crisis doesn’t become a permanent setback.”
Neuberger said Realtor.com® will partner with RRF this year to elevate stories of the foundation’s impact, drive awareness and encourage industry and consumer support.
When disaster strikes an area, RRF works quickly, coordinating with local REALTOR® associations to grant money to cover mortgage payments, rent and temporary housing expenses for affected households. Since its founding in September 2001, RRF has distributed more than $52 million in aid to more than 30,000 families. (In December 2025, grant recipients shared their stories with REALTOR® News in “Delivering Hope After Disaster.”)
“As RRF marks 25 years of impact, Realtor.com®’s support strengthens our ability to deliver hope and housing when families need it most and helps to propel RRF into a new era of service and resilience,” RRF President Greg J. Hrabcak said.
RRF’s ability to fund disaster relief efforts has been thanks to the contributions of REALTOR® associations, industry partners and individual contributors—and every dollar contributed to the foundation goes to disaster victims. In its 25th year, RRF is aiming to inspire 25,000 NAR members, 500 state and local REALTOR® associations, and 100 industry partners to donate.
