Two powerhouses in the luxury space, Tiffany Curry of Houston and Deena Zimmerman of Chicago, share how they forged their own leadership paths and provide tips for how other women in the industry can take aim at the glass ceiling.

Tiffany Curry is the broker/owner of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Tiffany Curry & Co., REALTORS®, in Houston. She ranks in the top 1% specializing in global and luxury real estate. A trailblazer, Curry is the first solely owned African American owner of a Berkshire Hathaway HS franchise in the world. She is also the first wholly woman-owned franchise in Houston. Her firm is built on innovation, a supportive environment, and family feel that builds on relationships, collaboration, and expert service. Curry is the recipient of many top honors including the 2022 Swanepoel Power 200 WATCHLIST, Houston REALTOR® of the Year, GPT Houston Woman of the Year, Houston Business Journal 40 Under 40, and Houston REALTOR® of the Year '11, and was inducted into The National Civil Rights Hall of Fame in 2018. Deena Zimmerman is an award-winning broker who has worked in the real estate industry since 2004. Serving as a vice president in the SVN Chicago office, Deena’s focus is on tenant representation, specializing in finding high-quality sites throughout Chicagoland and surrounding areas for national operators, franchisees and first-time entrepreneurs. Deena also specializes in the sale and leasing of retail, investment, and development properties. She is co-chair of the SVN National Retail Council and national public speaker.
