Victoria Crown, 28, has two bachelor’s degrees, two master’s degrees, and a broker’s license, but she’s not all about book learning. She has traveled to Guadalajara, Mexico, to study Spanish and to Oxford University to learn about the European Union. After getting her real estate license at age 20, Crown was ready to become immersed in San Diego high-rises. “With the redevelopment downtown, I saw an opportunity to understand how they were constructed, why they were priced differently, why it costs so much to run an elevator. I became an expert,” she says. Adds Mike Marmion, general manager at Pacific Sotheby’s: “She uses every bit of information in a transaction. I’ve been managing for 25 years, and it’s refreshing to see someone as knowledgeable as this at such an early age.”
