What makes him special: Morgan sold his business in November 2002 to NRT-owned Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage of Utah. He’s now focused on helping the company implement a technology solution he developed to make sales teams more productive and strengthen brokers’ bottom line.
How’s it work? Morgan’s system organizes teams so that each member has a narrowly defined job and no one competes for the same business. The system uses technology to boost efficiency and track the minutiae of every transaction. He’s testing the approach now and hopes to implement it in all of Coldwell Banker’s Utah offices.
A real estate assembly line: He believes he can do for real estate sales what Henry Ford did for car production. “Many people have created business models and each has an important piece, but no one’s put the puzzle together,” says Morgan. “I’d love to be the person who does.”
