A fascination with DIY and home improvement reality television shows sparked Jessica Evans’ interest in real estate. She has long been captivated by the notion of the “perfect home.” Her specialty is first-time buyers, specifically millennial women. “My advantage is that I fit the demographic,” says Evans, 29. “When designing a marketing piece or responding to an Internet lead, I can easily put myself in my buyer’s shoes.” She enjoys showing off the town to newcomers—but tracking down a gem of a property is an even more intriguing test, she says. Evans has developed a reputation for finding the perfect place for the pickiest buyer. “One of my favorite challenges—and I do truly love challenges—is finding a rare and unusual, architecturally significant home for a client who has been searching for years without luck.”
