Believing in the City
When CJ Davis moved from her small town in Wisconsin to attend American University in Washington, D.C., she initially felt like she was living “in a bubble.” Some cautioned against venturing past Dupont Circle. But Davis broke free and is now an advocate for home ownership in the nation’s capital. Her passion is rubbing off on clients. “They see how excited I am about the city,” she says. “I can pass along the energy I feel.” As a buyer’s rep, Davis helps others invest in real estate. Meanwhile she’s pursuing a plan to add five more properties to her own investment portfolio. “It goes along with believing in the city,” she says. “It’s important when you’re in real estate to be passionate about where you are.”
