All in the Family
Chris Orth is vigilant about keeping in touch with his clients. “Over the years,” he says, “I’ve always been picking up the phone.” He calls those in his sphere at least four times a year and uses everything from social media to old-school postcards, which he regularly mails to clients and community members. Orth has to overcome the daily challenges of living with cystic fibrosis, which he calls “another full-time job,” but still finds time to coach youth basketball and raise money for cystic fibrosis research. Orth learned about selling homes from his stepfather, his team leader, who continues to mentor and inspire him. “I came from a great background,” Orth says. “It’s truly a family business.”
