Judy Covington (CRS, AHWD), a REALTOR® from Elk Grove, Calif., is the 2026 Housing Issues Liaison for the National Association of REALTORS®.
Besides her work as a broker-associate with Keller Williams Realty, she’s been active at all levels of the REALTOR® organization. At NAR, Judy has chaired the Regulatory Issues Forum and served on the Federal Financing and Housing Policy and Federal Taxation committees. She has been the Federal Political Coordinator for U.S. Representative Ami Bera (Calif.-06) since 2013.
At the state level, Judy is a C.A.R. Director, and has chaired the California Real Estate Political Action Committee and Housing Affordability Fund. She has also served as Vice Chair on the Federal and Legislative committees.
At the Sacramento Association of REALTORS®, Judy has served as President, a Director, and on numerous committees. She received the board’s Lifetime Service Award in 2024 and was named REALTOR® of the Year in 2011.
Outside of her professional life, Judy thrives in her favorite role: family anchor. She has seven siblings, a lively circle of nieces and nephews, and a daughter, Rochelle. She and her husband Joseph’s loyalty to the San Francisco Giants and 49ers is legendary—proof that after 49 years of marriage, their teamwork is as enduring as their enthusiasm.
