Jeff Baker, the CEO of Illinois REALTORS® since July 2020, serves as 2026 Association Leadership Liaison for the National Association of REALTORS®.
For over a decade, Jeff has been a leader and adviser for Illinois REALTORS®, initially serving as the association’s Associate General Counsel and later as Deputy CEO. In both his legal and executive capacities, Jeff has worked closely with Illinois’ elected officials to grow and strengthen the state’s housing economy. As part of that work, he served on the Illinois Economic Development Corporation board of directors.
Active in REALTOR® governance, Jeff has served on NAR work groups, Presidential Advisory Groups and the Legal Action and Association Executives committees.
Jeff received his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, his master’s degree in public policy from Georgetown University and his bachelor’s in political science from the University of Illinois.
