NAR Education Program for Association and MLS Counsel

2022 Program Overview

On Wednesday, October 12th, the Professional Standards Session will be led by experts to help you steer through the trickiest professional standards administration and enforcement issues, such as how to process an MLS rules allegation filed simultaneously with a Code of Ethics complaint, along with an engaging discussion of various Code enforcement issues that have baffled your peers, like whether a hearing panel may call its own expert witness. On Thursday, October 13th, during the Legal Education Seminar, attendees can look forward to the NAR Legal Affairs Team navigating attendees through recent updates on hot legal issues; the NAR Advocacy Team looking ahead to the priorities of various regulatory agencies and what the mid-term elections might mean for REALTORS®; hearing a panel discussion on timely copyright issues; working through common scenarios facing association counsel; and receiving an industry litigation update from NAR’s General Counsel Katie Johnson and much more!

Additional details will be provided as we get closer to the program. We anticipate offering CLE credit in Illinois and will provide attendees with a letter of attendance to use when applying for CLE credit in other states.

We look forward to seeing everyone at this year’s virtual program!
