David J. Barber Sr. (ABR®, CRS, GRI, SRES®, AHWD, C2EX, MRP, SFR®), a REALTOR® from Colorado, is the 2026 Region 11 Regional Vice President for the National Association of REALTORS®, serving Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. A Broker Associate with RE/MAX Leaders in Colorado, he has specialized in residential real estate for 19 years.
A REALTOR® leader for 16 years, David has served on numerous committees including Housing Opportunity, Real Property Valuation and Membership Policy and Board Jurisdiction, which he chaired in 2021. In recognition of his steadfast commitment to advocacy, David was inducted into the NAR RPAC Hall of Fame in 2020.
At the state level, David served as 2015 President of the Colorado Association of REALTORS®. He has also served on the Professional Standards and Legislative and Regulatory Policy committees; on the Leadership Council; and as a Leadership Academy mentor. He’s been recognized with multiple Distinguished Service Awards, the Political Service Award, and was inducted into the Colorado RPAC Hall of Fame.
Locally, David is a member of the South Metro Denver REALTOR® Association. He is a former REColorado Director. His contributions have earned him recognition as a Good Neighbor and as a Protecting Our Future Honoree.
An engaged community leader, David serves with the Aurora Chamber of Commerce, where he chaired Leadership Aurora in 2020, and continues to contribute as a member of the Chamber’s Board of Directors and Foundation Board. He is also a passionate supporter of conservation, involved with Ducks Unlimited and Pheasants Forever.
David and his wife, Tammy, have been married for 34 years and are the proud parents of two children, Ashley and D.J.
