Is that vanity floating? It’s more subtle than it may sound. A bathroom vanity mounted to the wall offers some peek-through, open space at the bottom near the floor. These can create the illusion of more space, since light is passing through at the base.

Floating bathroom vanities are fitting in with a more contemporary and minimalistic design. The trend was spotted in the owner’s suite of the 2022 New American Home, the show-home that builders and product manufacturers build every year. The cabinets near the bottom of the vanity matched the color of the flooring for a seamless look.
