Bill Risser

Bill began his career in the title industry with the Chicago Title Phoenix operation in 2000, starting as a Sales Executive.  From 2001 to 2011, Bill managed a thriving residential/commercial unit in the Southeast Valley. In 2011, he developed the VP, Digital Strategy position, focusing on helping real estate agents, lenders, and other real estate professionals navigate the ever-changing world of digital engagement and technology.  In January 2017, Bill relocated to St. Petersburg, Florida, and joined the Fidelity National Title - Tampa District operation as VP, Digital Strategy. 

Bill has presented on social media and technology topics at real estate and title industry events nationwide, including the ALTA Annual Convention, NAR Annual Conference, the National Settlement Services Summit, the Land Title Association of Arizona Annual Convention, and the Arizona Association of Economic Development Conference. Since relocating to Florida, Bill has worked with the Florida Realtors, Pinellas Realtor Organization, Greater Tampa Realtors, Royal Palm Coast Realtor Association, and numerous brokerages.  He has also been an Ambassador for multiple Inman News Real Estate Connect events in San Francisco and New York. Last year, Bill won the Inman Innovator of the Year Award for his podcast, The Real Estate Sessions. His podcast launched in July 2015 and has over 245 interviews with local and national industry leaders. 

Bill is married to his wife of 32 years, Cindy. Their son, Kevin, recently graduated from The Maxwell School at Syracuse University with a Masters in Public Administration and now works for a not-for-profit in Washington, D.C.  Bill’s interests include golf, sports (real and fantasy) of all kinds, and Barbra Streisand. Really.
