The National Association of REALTORS® awarded the 2017 Platinum Global Achievement Program Award to the Northern Virginia Association of REALTORS®’s NVAR GLOBAL at the Annual Conference & Expo in Chicago, IL. The Association staff and volunteer leaders demonstrated high levels of achievement in the five evaluated categories: Business Plan, Marketing & Communication, Events/Education, Outreach and Benchmarking.

In addition to excelling in the above categories, NVAR revamped their association website and did a fantastic job of including robust global information and highlighting their many achievements. In 2016 5 NVAR Staff earned their CIPS Designation and more are working towards holding it in 2017-2018. In 2016-2017 they participated in 4 trade missions and sent numerous members to International events. In addition to those achievements, NVAR Global also has a full complement of members serving at the national level. It is clear that Global isn’t just a word at NVAR, it is part of their association’s overall mission, and it shows!

In 2016, NVAR GLOBAL received the Platinum Achievement Award. Prior to that, in 2015 and 2011, they received the Gold Achievement Award.
