The National Association of REALTORS® awarded the 2018 Platinum Global Achievement Program Award to the Greater Las Vegas Association of REALTORS®’s Global Business Committee at the REALTORS® Annual Conference & Expo in Boston, MA. The Association staff and volunteer leaders demonstrated high levels of achievement in the five evaluated categories: Business Plan, Marketing & Communication, Events/Education, Outreach and Benchmarking.

In addition to excelling in the above categories, the GLVAR Global Business Committee continually provided information on international real estate from State and Local Government agencies, Las Vegas Visitors Convention Authority, and the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance. They also provided their members with marketing material for Southern Nevada for their members to use with their foreign buyers and sellers. They are currently working with their MLS to see if they can add a field (in addition to the FIRPTA field already incorporated) that indicates what country/continent of origin the buyer came from to enhance the statistics further.

In 2017, 2016, 2015, and 2014, the GLVAR Global Business Committee received the Platinum Achievement Award. In 2013 and 2012, they received Gold.
