Delivering key messages is essential for a successful interview. A key message is a phrase that explains an overarching concept and sets the foundation for effective media communications.
A good key message follows the four Cs:
- Conveys an idea
- Concise and to the point
- Can be Committed to memory
Virtually every topic that might be covered during an interview you do for NAR can be addressed broadly with at least one of these key messages, as shown in the chart and bulleted list.
