Alabama Road Show 

Birmingham Association of REALTORS® 

Communications/Marketing; Community/Member 

The Birmingham Association of REALTORS® will be conducting a roadshow to the key Alabama locations of Montgomery, Tuscaloosa, Baldwin County, and Huntsville to educate members on the need for the Historic Tax Credit program. This will also create an opportunity to spotlight other development projects throughout the state and conduct outreach to commercial practitioners who may not members.

North Texas Economic Development Expo

Greater Fort Worth Association of REALTORS® 

Communications/Marketing; Community/Member Involvement & Networking 

The Greater Fort Worth Association of REALTORS® will host an Economic Development Corporations Expo. The event is designed to connect commercial practitioners with the 30+ North Texas EDCs and city planning staff from local municipalities.

Arcadia Association of REALTORS® 

Education/Professionalism 

The Arcadia Association of REALTORS® will partner with BisNow Media on an education day designed to bring industry information and networking opportunities to the membership. By leveraging the marketing efforts of a local media presence, the event will create outreach to an untapped sector of potential members.

Quarterly Commercial Alliance 

East Valley Association of REALTORS® 

Education/Professionalism; Community/Member Involvement & Networking 

East Valley Association of REALTORS® will establish a quarterly commercial content meeting in order to fortify its commercial structure. Goals include creating education sessions with local city managers and planning department leads, hosting a networking meet-and-greet in an iconic community building, and involving surrounding associations.

Education/Professionalism 

The North San Diego Association of REALTORS® will host its first-ever Commercial Day. Open to members and the public, the event will feature a small trade expo, commercial education, and a marketing session.

Commercial Services Launch Event 

Santa Clara County Association of REALTORS® 

Education/Professionalism 

Santa Clara County Association of REALTORS® will host a Commercial Services launch event designed to highlight new member resources and raise awareness. Programming will focus on educational offerings designed to increase member proficiency in commercial real estate and encourage residential agents to learn more about commercial transactions and the association’s new referral network.

The Future of Commercial Deal Making 

Southland Regional Association of REALTORS® 

Education/Professionalism 

Southland Regional Association of REALTORS® will create educational content designed to explore the future of commercial deal-making. Courses will provide education on the nuances of actual commercial transactions and will cover topics such as social media, drones, virtual reality platforms, and emerging technologies.

Commercial Education & Business Strategies Conference, 2017 

Eastern Connecticut Association of REALTORS® 

Education/Professionalism 

Eastern Connecticut Association of REALTORS® will host a Commercial Education & Business Strategies Conference designed to connect its practitioners with legislators, major employers, and educators from Connecticut and neighboring states. The morning will include presentations from the Commercial Property Consulting Group, Southeastern Connecticut Enterprise Region, Electric Boat Division, and a legislative update from Senator Formica. A networking lunch and CE course on Real Estate Analysis are to follow.

The New Haven Middlesex Association of REALTORS® will host a half-day conference designed to educate members on local industry trends and market issues. Indiana Commercial Board of REALTORS® 

Education/Professionalism; Technology/Data

The Indiana Commercial Board of REALTORS® will create and maintain annual commercial transaction forms. Members will provide feedback and serve on review committees, allowing ICBR to produce the most up-to-date resources and provide a competitive advantage in a state where commercial forms are only updated every five years.

Missouri REALTORS® Fall Commercial Summit 

Missouri REALTORS® Association 

Education/Professionalism; Community/Member Involvement & Networking 

Missouri REALTORS® will host a Commercial Summit at the Cortex Innovation Community, providing sessions on market trends, 1031 Exchanges, and a high-powered panel featuring local real estate movers-and-shakers. Hosting the event at Cortex is notable because practitioners will be situated in the heart of a 200-acre innovation hub, enabling them to connect with a bevy of tech startups and established industry leaders. The Summit will utilize the Cortex campus’ three missions of creating tech-focused jobs, being an engine of economic inclusion, and generating tax revenues to support essential public services.

Nebraska REALTORS® Commercial Day 

Nebraska REALTORS® Association 

Education/Professionalism 

The Nebraska REALTORS® association is hosting a commercial day. In addition to offering 12 hours of commercial CE, the association will also create networking opportunities with Omaha’s CCIM chapter, Midlands Commercial Information Exchange, and the Nebraska Association of Commercial Property Owners.

What's Driving Northeast Ohio: Technology Trends in 2020 and Beyond 

Akron Cleveland Association of REALTORS® 

Education/Professionalism 

The Akron Cleveland Association of REALTORS® will create a program to explore technological advances underway in Northeast Ohio, such as an Amazon Distribution Center under construction and driverless cars being tested in Cleveland. The Association will partner with Cleveland University’s Urban Studies School, Downtown Cleveland Alliance, NAIOP, and IREM®.

Creation of Urban Renewal CE 

Cincinnati Area Board of REALTORS® 

Education/Professionalism 

The Cincinnati Area Board of REALTORS® will create CE on urban renewal using a local case study as content. A Cincinnati brownfield deemed toxic was cleaned up and repurposed to allow the construction of a Boys & Girls Club community center. CABR will invite members to receive CE credit, apply the education in their own communities, and ultimately raise funds for Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

Washington State Commercial Association of REALTORS® 

Education/Professionalism 

Washington State Commercial Association of REALTORS® will host a two-day, two-city commercial education event. Through programming in Seattle and Spokane, members will be able to complete their annual CE, receive legislative updates, learn more about RPAC, network in the state’s two largest commercial markets, and establish itself as a statewide go-to resource.

Miami REALTORS® will create a referral system of members that will enable key information to be located though easily searchable terms. Search categories include designations, language proficiency, and geographic areas of specialization. The goal is to facilitate deals between members and investors, increase association exposure, and improve the professionalism of commercial practitioners.

The Capital Area REALTORS® will fund a marketing effort to more clearly align themselves with the annual State of the City Luncheon–a premier community event which features a Mayoral address. In addition to CREN’s chairman serving as Master of Ceremonies, the association will also further solidify its healthy relationship with the community and reinforce its brand.
