Stephen King has always forged his own path. When his parents couldn’t afford college tuition, he deferred school and worked 60 hours a week to save money. King also pored over business books, and he came to a realization. “I was looking to go $250,000 in debt to learn how to work for someone else,” he says, “when in my heart, I wanted to work for myself.” King decided to get his real estate license and never looked back, keen to grow his brand by serving his community. King, 28, founded the Patchogue Young Professionals in Long Island, N.Y. The networking group teaches area students about entrepreneurship and has raised $40,000 for local charities. It also brought King to a high-profile listing: In January, he became the nation’s first agent with a 3D-printed home on an MLS. “This is the biggest listing opportunity of my career,” says King,
