"In 2011, I started the ‘Stefan Doerrfeld Marketing Internship Program,’ where each year I interview and select a marketing major to be an intern for a semester. I teach the interns the basics of advertising and marketing, give them hands-on experience by tasking them to create advertisements that will be used on listings or advertised to the public or my sphere of influence, and challenge them to come up with creative marketing ideas and bring them to life. The intern gets invaluable experience and is able to build a comprehensive portfolio of work to use in pursuing his or her future career. Best of all: It’s a paid internship!"
