Gets What They Need
Megan Steinmetz’s niche is a natural fit. She grew up on a lake north of Minnesota’s Twin Cities. Her family had a cabin on a lake in northern Wisconsin. Her first sale in 2017 was a lake home. And now, with more people seeking refuge in a second home during the pandemic, a majority of her sales are lakefront properties. Steinmetz, 29, often takes flood and lakefront education classes, since every lake has its own rules and regulations. “Every transaction is different, but if you do a good job with one and tackle the obstacles along the way, word travels like wildfire,” she says. A die-hard Rolling Stones fan who has been known to plan her vacations around the Stones’ tour dates, Steinmetz sparked numerous conversations with fellow fans simply by applying a Rolling Stones sticker to the back of her car. “Everyone has a Rolling Stones story or fun fact,” she says.
