Tom Salomone, NAR 2016 President, delivers the opening address at the 2015 Leadership Summit.
Tom is a REALTOR® from Coral Springs, Florida, and has been a licensed real estate agent for more than 40 years. He is a second generation REALTOR® and broker/owner of Real Estate II, a firm specializing in residential real estate. He serves on NAR’s Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and Leadership Team. He is a proud member of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® North Broward Chapter. In 2012, Tom served as the Director of REALTOR® Party activities for NAR. In 2011, he served as committee liaison to the Issues Mobilization Committee, State & Local Issues Committee, and the Smart Growth Program Advisory Group. Tom has chaired many NAR committees, subcommittees and forums.
Tom served as President of the Florida Association of REALTORS® in 2003 and as treasurer in 2005. He was named Florida’s REALTOR® of the Year in 2005.
