Sara Briseño Gerrish (ABR, CRS, GRI, AHWD, e-PRO, C2EX) is a second-generation Texas REALTOR® and broker-associate with RE/MAX Unlimited, the largest brokerage in San Antonio’s southern sector. In 2023, Sara served on the executive board of the National Association of REALTORS® as the 2023 Housing Issues Liaison, one of 15 selected from 1.5 million members.
Sara has a BBA in marketing from St. Mary’s University and an MBA from Texas A&M - San Antonio, one of the University’s first MBA classes. She has been licensed for over 20 years.
She is a graduate of the Texas REALTORS® Leadership Program, the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) Leadership Academy, the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s Latina Leadership Institute, and the Alexander Briseño Leadership Development Program.
Sara takes pride in being a REALTOR® and housing advocate, helping buyers and sellers achieve homeownership to build generational wealth while advocating for legislation to ensure housing for all. Sara was recognized as a 2019 Texas REALTOR® to Watch. She is a past chairman of the San Antonio Board of REALTORS® (SABOR) Young Professional Network, the Texas REALTORS® Diversity Committee, and the National Association of REALTORS®’ Smart Growth Advisory Board.
With a strong commitment to sustainable homeownership in the Hispanic community, Sara is a past board member of the San Antonio Chapter of NAHREP, having earned alumni status. She currently serves as the chairman-elect for the San Antonio Board of REALTORS® (the city’s largest trade organization with approximately 15,000 members), is a vice president for the South Texas Business Partnership (formally known as the South San Antonio Chamber of Commerce), and is currently the chairman of the City of San Antonio’s Affirmative Action Advisory Board.
Sara is a 2021 San Antonio Business Journal 40 Under 40 Recipient and one of the 2022 Texas Business Journal’s 100 Professionals to Watch. Helping first-time homebuyers and promoting San Antonio’s urban core make up Sara’s real estate focus and passion. In her spare time, she hangs out with her husband, Kevin, and their two Jack Russell terriers, planning their next adventure.
