Daily Real Estate News  |  May 27, 2011  |   Ohio Man Pleads Guilty to Harassing Agents
A Newark, Ohio, man has pleaded guilty to making sexual threats toward five female real estate professionals in central Ohio.

John Daniels, 45, reportedly found women on real estate Web sites and contacted them about setting up a time to view homes for sale. He would end each phone conversation by telling the agents that he was going to sexually assault them, according to police reports.

"I didn't pick her out because I knew her," Daniels said. "To be honest with you, I looked at her. She looked pretty so I called her."

Daniels allegedly used another man’s name when making the phone calls.

Daniels faces four counts of telecommunications harassment, which could hold up to 16 years in prison. He was convicted of similar crimes in 1994 and 1998.
