Federal Political Coordinator Program
Federal Political Coordinators (FPC) are the “face of real estate,” constituent lobbyists who work to educate Members of Congress on important issues facing the real estate industry. FPCs are recommended by their state president and appointed by the NAR President, to serve a two-year term that runs concurrently with the Congressional cycle. Potential FPCs should have a willingness to learn the issues, the ability to set aside their personal politics to represent the REALTOR® Party, and desire to build and/or maintain a relationship with a Member of Congress.

Consumer Outreach Advocacy
This program reaches out to millions of US consumers with highly targeted email and on-line messaging to advance the consumer’s understanding of homeownership issues and asking consumers to get involved or ‘take action’ on federal issues. In conjunction with participating state and local associations and nar.realtor, state and community homeownership issues are posted to
Realtor.com to show consumers that REALTORS® are on the consumer’s side on many issues, and to inform buyers of important actions taken in support of the consumer on homeownership issues. Additionally, brokers are able to use NAR messaging on homeownership on their websites and in company consumer outreach.
