CHICAGO (November 10, 2020) – Members of the National Association of Realtors® will have access to a new resource as SentriLock, NAR’s official lockbox solution provider, today unveiled its new SentriKey™ Showing Service. The subscription-based platform, which will initially be made available through participating state and local Realtor® associations and MLSs, is designed to help real estate agents more efficiently manage logistics surrounding home showings and viewings. The service will allow agents to quickly open lockboxes from their smartphones or tablets, and is the only all-in-one platform built to manage showings, client communications and property access.
“COVID-19 accelerated a number of the technological evolutions we had been seeing within real estate over recent decades,” said NAR CEO Bob Goldberg. “So many changes have been forced upon our industry, but for years Realtors® have been positioning themselves to adapt and succeed in a digital world.
“That ability to pivot has helped our members lead the nation’s economy back from the depths of this pandemic, and today’s announcement offers a new opportunity for Realtors® to utilize technology to increase efficiency, improve productivity and provide better service to clients,” Goldberg concluded.
SentriKey Showing Service™ is fully integrated with the SentriKey Real Estate Lockbox System, intended to ensure a seamless experience for both agents and brokers. The platform’s dashboard was designed as a single, intuitive location through which agents can quickly and easily manage their showings.
For buyer’s agents, this dashboard provides a detailed list of each day’s appointments and includes property notifications, alarm codes and special instructions upon entering a property. Seller’s agents are able to find information regarding the status of each showing request, along with the showing agent’s name and contact information.
