Monday Minute – Week of May 22, 2017

Both the Senate and House are in session this week, but the focus will be in the House where a few issues of importance to REALTORS® will be discussed. The Financial Services Committee has a hearing tentatively scheduled for May 25 on flood insurance. The Science, Space, & Technology Committee will discuss expanding the role of States in EPA rulemaking.  The Energy & Commerce Committee will discuss how new technologies (i.e. drones) have impacted delivery services available to consumers  and  businesses, and regulatory challenges at the federal, state, and local levels for deploying new delivery services.
