Maria S. Wells (CRB, SRES, ABR, SFR, AHWD, e-PRO®), a REALTOR® from Stuart, Florida, was the 2019 National Association of REALTORS® liaison for Region 5 comprised of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico.
Maria has been a REALTOR® for more than 20 years. She is a broker/owner at Lifestyle Realty Group located in Stuart and specializes in residential real estate.
At the national level, Maria has served on many NAR committees. As 2016 Chair of the Insurance Committee, Maria helped set flood insurance policy for NAR, and testified in Congress on behalf of REALTORS®. She chaired the Research Committee in 2013 and has served on NAR’s Board of Directors since 2010.
Maria is a member of the Florida Association of REALTORS® and served as their 2017 president. Appointed by two separate governors, Maria has served on the Florida State Health Insurance Advisory Board for the past 12 years.
Her local association is the REALTORS® of the Palm Beaches & Greater Fort Lauderdale, where she served as president in 2017. She previously served as president of the REALTORS® Association of St. Lucie in 2010.
She and her husband Rod have two children.
