Q: What is the conference dress code?
A: Dress is business attire.
Q: What is the location of the 2014 NAR Federal Policy Conference?
A: The conference will be held at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel. The hotel is located at 2800 Potomac Ave., Arlington, VA 22202 and can be reached at (703) 413-1300.
Q: I am a State Government Affairs Director (GAD). Am I invited and will NAR cover my costs?
A: Yes, State REALTOR® Association GADs are invited to attend the conference and NAR will cover the travel related costs of a State GAD.
Q: I am a State AE. Am I invited and will NAR cover my costs?
A: State REALTOR® Association AEs attendance to the 2014 NAR Federal Policy Conference is optional. State AEs who wish to accompany their State GADs are responsible for their own expenses (e.g. flight tickets, hotel accommodations, ground transportation, meals, etc.). If the State GAD position is vacant and the State AE plans to attend in place of the GAD then NAR will cover your expenses.
Q: I am a REALTOR® Party Committee/Forum/Board/Council Chair/Vice Chair. Am I invited to the conference?
A: REALTOR® Party Chairs and Vice Chairs attendance to the 2014 NAR Federal Policy Conference is optional. If you would like to attend, please contact Beth Brittingham at email@example.com.
NOTE: We ask that all attendees register as a conference participant. This will enable us to have a name badge ready for you at the registration desk.
Q: What costs are covered by NAR?
A: The following costs are covered by NAR for invited attendees (please refer to the attendee list for details):
- Hotel lodging for the duration of respective meetings*
- Coach class airfare
- Meals during the various meetings
- Ground Transportation
- Fees associated with flight changes for members who booked their travel before the end date of the Conference was modified to January 29 and need to fly back home as a result of this.
*Please note: Incidentals are covered by the member during their stay.
Q: When should I arrive and depart from Arlington, VA?
A: Please plan to arrive on Tuesday, January 28 for a welcome reception at 5:00 p.m. Eastern time, and depart on Wednesday, January 29 at 3:00 pm, when the conference adjourns. Should you have any questions please contact our staff.
