A: Conference programs and the trade expo take place November 3-6, 2017. Committee meetings are scheduled for November 1-6, 2017.

Q. What is the airport near the McCormick Place Convention Center?
A. O'Hare International Airport and Midway International Airport are near the convention center. Get airport information.

Q: Do I have to be a member of NAR to attend?
A: No, you do not have to be a member of NAR to attend. However, NAR members receive reduced rates on registration fees. To learn more about NAR membership, click here.

Q: How much does it cost to register?
A: Premier Access Pass ($450 for Members/$550 for Non-members)
Friends & Family Pass ($350 for those attending with a Member/Non-member)
One-Day Pass ($200 for Members/$240 for Non-members)
Single Session Pass ($60 for Members/$90 for Non-members)
Expo-Only Pass ($25 for Members/$50 for Non-members)

Q: How can I register?
A: You can register online beginning May 3. You can also register on site in Chicago, but please note that you may need to wait in line.

Q: When can I sign up for ticketed events and pre-conference courses?
A: You may purchase tickets for all ticketed events or register for pre-conference courses as soon as registration opens.

Q: I am an NAR member and have registered to attend the REALTORSŪ Conference & Expo, but have not received my confirmation email with bar code, what should I do?
A: Please email our registrar Experient at to have it resent.

Q: Do you offer Continuing Education (CE) credit with the education sessions?
A: In order to bring you the most timely content and broadest selection of speakers, content and speakers, clock hours will not be submitted for state specific continuing education credit approval.

Q: I am a Premier Access registrant. How long can I access my session recordings?
A: 2016 REALTORSŪ Conference & Expo session recordings are available until November 1, 2017! Premier Access registrants can access the recordings through your activated account. Recordings are also available for purchase onsite OR access this website to preview or order recordings online.

Q: What is so important about October 6?
A: October 6 is the advance cutoff date for purchasing Inaugural Gala and tours/attraction tickets.

Q: What is so important about October 13?
A: October 13 is the advance cutoff date for purchasing tickets for select special events. It is also the deadline to make hotel reservations through our registrar Experient, as well as cancel registrations.

Q: Do I need to tip NAR shuttle drivers?
A: Tipping is not required on NAR shuttles or tour buses.

Q: What is the weather like in Chicago in November?
A: The average high for the month is 55F degrees and the average low is 40F degrees.

Q: What should I pack to wear?
A: Business casual is appropriate for most conference events. Black tie attire is appropriate for the Inaugural Gala, and black tie is optional for the International Night Out. Dress for tours is casual. A sweater or light coat can come in handy, as air conditioning can be chilly and nighttime temperature can be in the 40s. Pack comfortable shoes for walking around the trade expo and meeting space and for sightseeing and tours.

Q: I would like to just register for the governance/affiliate meetings-only meetings, how can I do this?
A: Email for instructions.

Q: I'm registered for governance/affiliate meetings; can I attend conference programs or the expo with this registration?
A: No. Conference & Expo registration must be purchased separately to attend the sessions, trade expo, and other activities. Premier Access, One-Day, Single Session Pass and Expo-Only registrations are available. An Expo-Only registration does not include conference programs, but does allow you unlimited access to the expo during official hours on all four days.

Q: Where can I pick up my respective designation and certification ribbon(s)?
A: Designation and certification ribbons can be picked up in the registration area. Voting Delegates should pick up their ribbons at the Voting Delegate Desk. Directors can pick up their ribbons at Director Registration.

Q: I have registered for the REALTORSŪ Conference & Expo and now find out that I will not be able to attend. Can I substitute someone else in my place?
A: Yes! Prior to October 13, 2017, please email your request to Experient at After October 13, 2017, your replacement must bring a copy of your registration confirmation email to NAR Registration, and a new badge will be issued.
