NAR Participates in National Association of Home Builders 5th Appraisal Summit

George S. Wonica, a broker/appraiser/manager for Wonica Realtors & Appraisers in Staten Island, participated in the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Residential Real Estate Appraisal Summit on Oct. 24, 2012.  He is a member of the Staten Island Board of Realtors and the New York Association of Realtors, as well as a member of the NAR® Real Property Valuation Committee and Land Use Committee. 

Mr. Wonica contributed to the discussion on appraisals, specifically highlighting appraiser geographic competency as a concern of many realtors and appraisers around the country.   He also provided background on Realtors Property Resource, LLC (RPR™), NAR’s exclusive online real estate library, which is a resource for appraisers to enhance their valuation tools.
