Strategic Plan

Because the real estate business is dynamic and competitive, the Strategic Plan that drives our association must always be evolving and adapting to a changing environment. Each year, NAR's Strategic Thinking Advisory Committee explores the critical challenges and emerging opportunities that the association and the real estate industry will confront during the next three to five years and beyond.

At its Nov. 11, 2013, meeting, the Board of Directors approved a new three-year strategic plan that emphasizes innovation and transformation. A 15-month process called REThink engaged members in talking about NAR's future and drove development of the plan. In a letter introducing the plan, NAR's leaders talk about actions the association has already taken as a result of REThink.
