The Amicus Brief Advisory Board of the Legal Action Committee considers requests for amicus participation in cases. Amicus curiae briefs allow third parties that are not involved in the litigation to share with the court information and expertise that have bearing on the case. Requests for NAR’s participation in a case as amicus are considered throughout the year by the Amicus Brief Advisory Board. If possible, please provide us with at least 60 days’ advance notice for review of the request and brief drafting. We understand that is not always possible, but we appreciate your early notice. The Amicus Brief Advisory Board will determine whether NAR should participate in the requested case, the nature of that participation, and the financial commitment to be applied. Completed applications should be sent to the Amicus Brief Advisory Board Co-Staff Executives Chloe Hecht and Mike Rohde at
