"Real Estate Confidential," a 30-minute docu-drama that debuted this week on Fine Living TV Network, follows an array of Los Angeles real estate deals, from estate sales to foreclosures.

In the first episode, Coldwell Banker Associate Connie De Groot is trying to sell a 5,400-square-foot, $3 million home in Beverly Hills, but it's not easy. She's the third practitioner to list the house. The deal breaker for many potential buyers is a life-size sculpture of a tree in the living room. De Groot’s answer is simple: cut it down.

The show seeks to captures the real life of real estate, says says Joel Rizor, executive producer and president of Screen Door Entertainment, a partner in the show's production. "We don't create situations."

You can catch this episode Friday night at 8 p.m. Eastern and Pacific time. Fine Living acounts 43 million subscriber homes.
