At the Aug. 6-7 Leadership Summit in Chicago, President-elect John Smaby laid out the association's strategic priorities for 2019.
"The competition for our voice is fiercer than ever—we must continue to strive to ensure REALTORS® remain at the front and center of our industry," Smaby told state and local REALTOR® association presidents for 2019, and association executives attending the event. "With this goal in mind, and to keep us focused on our core mission—helping make REALTORS® more successful and profitable—we have set four priorities for our Association in 2019."
Advancing Member and Consumer Communications
Redoubling of Efforts in Advocacy and Regulatory Monitoring
Heightening NAR's Role as a Steward of Data
Enhancing the Member Experience
However, during the REALTORS® Conference and Expo, we announced an additional priority:
Addressing Affordability & Supply Issues.
